Caracteristici Domeniul de masurare este in jur de 8,0 unitati de absorbanta, cu atenuarea fascicolului de referinta. Spectrometrul Cary 5000 – masoara in intervalul de la 175 pana la 3300 nm utilizand un detector fotomultiplicator (PMT) pentru domeniul UV-Vis si un detector PbSmart NIR pentru a extinde domeniul de masurare pana in regiunea infrarosu apropiat.
